The guy who lives at my old apartment called me randomly tonight letting me know I got a package (he opened it which is sketchy, but anywho). He said they looked like “shocks”. Turns out through some searching of numbers that they are FoRS sport Springs. My first thought was to check all my bank accounts to make sure no one was stupid enough to use my info (that’s happened to my dad, someone stole his info but forgot to change the delivery address and we got the fraudulent goods). Those were all good, and there were no active orders on my account since I haven’t bought for over a year from them for my FoST.
I’m assuming that it was sent to me on accident, so I will be returning them. Couldn’t get a hold of them tonight but hopefully I can confirm there’s nothing fraudulent going on with my Information.

Yes and no, it’s weird that he opened it up, makes me wonder what he would’ve done if it was useful. Mostly yes though, as him doing that would’ve potentially helped me catch fraudulent activity.
The springs were actually on sale for $233, if I contact them and it’s more hassle to send them back AND the fors springs fit the FoST (I’m not sure as they are separate parts and part numbers) I might just submit a PO and keep ‘em

If it’s a hassle to send them back, you can tell them to come pick them up if they want them. If they shipped the product in error, I can’t see how it should be on anyone but them to get them back. Ideally they should just be sending you a mailing label and arranging a pickup. If they don’t want to make the effort, there’s no reason you should have to pay for them.

You are under no obligation to return them nor are you under any obligation to pay shipping if they request the return!

I don’t need springs honestly, the car is already low enough. These also were made for the RS so I have no need. However, I won’t pay to ship anything as I didn’t do anything here

Exactly. They don’t have a leg to stand on here. It’s your choice. You can sell ‘em, eBay ‘em, throw ‘em off a building (don’t do that,) turn ‘em into furniture, whatever you want.

You’re right, he shouldn’t have open your mail. Well if you can’t use them, maybe another Oppo will buy or trade something for them.

I honestly will probably give them to a local RS owner or ST owner, if they fit. I’m sure I could make a few bucks on them but eh, pay it forward I suppose
